The LWVUS Day of Action for People Powered Fair Maps™ will be Thursday, April 29, 2021. This will be a day for the League of Women Voters to take nationwide coordinated action to create awareness, visibility, and accountability around the need for a process for redistricting.
At 7:00 pm, WCGA will host a 30 min video, “The Line in the Street,” with a discussion immediately following the video. Paul Huffman will lead the discussion. We will close with a challenge to participate in our Postcard writing Campaign.
The Call to Action postcard campaign is an opportunity to take Action!
Join us in a postcard campaign and advocate for legislation to change the existing redistricting process (People/Principles/Process). We will provide postcards, stamps, suggested messages and a recommended list of names of the leaders to send postcards. Choose between a packet of 5 or10 postcards.
