The Woodbury-Cottage Grove Area League of Women Voters presents its monthly public program on Tuesday, June 13, beginning at 7:00 pm (via Zoom Webinar - register here).
Lynette Anderson is the popular Interpretive Naturalist at Belwin Conservancy in Afton, Minnesota. She loves to help folks learn what we can all do to make a difference in our own behaviors to support nature.
She is renowned for her buggy-rides to see bison actively restoring the Belwin Conservancy prairie and for her daytime and nighttime walks to enjoy frogs, birds, prairies, and other habitats.
Lynette began presenting nature programs at Belwin Conservancy in 2000 as a teacher for the St. Paul Public Schools and she began doing restoration work in 2008. As a St. Croix River valley resident since 1987, she combines her local knowledge with her passion for education about all our plant and animal friends. She is endlessly fascinated, inspired and wonder-struck by nature. Lynette obtained her degree from the University of WI - Stevens Point in Resource Management and Environmental Education and has been engaged in teaching - on the trail - ever since.
