A substitute teacher pay rate increase was passed after one board member recused himself from the vote because his wife works as a substitute in the district.
A structural consideration time line has been proposed for the 2024-25 school year to change the calendar and start times. The school year would start one week early allowing for more professional development days and more natural breaks with the holidays. The board has had meetings with staff and will be working to get input from the community. A final recommendation is expected in January.
